Dera Gopipur is a town and taluka headquarters nestled in the Kangra district of the northern state of India, Himachal Pradesh. It is located on the banks of the Beas River. The town is on the Kangra-Mubarakpur road, and is around 10 km from Jwalamukhi and Balta. The town is easily accessible by airways and railways. Ranital Railway Station is the nearest railway station and the nearest airport is the Gaggal Airport.
