Denwa River, Madhya PradeshDenwa River is a lifeline river of Satpura National Park. The Denwa River originates from southeastern part of the Hoshangabad district (Hoshangabad District of Madhya Pradesh houses Pachmarhi, one of the most popular hill stations of the country) in Madhya Pradesh State. It flows from east to west direction before joining the Tawa river at south of Rainpur.

The Denwa River is located in 22.746128 Latitude and 77.719356 longitudes. At the confluence of Tawa & Denwa River, there is a reservoir called Tawa Reservoir (Tawa Reservoir is a huge reservoir on the Tawa River in Hoshangabad District) has been constructed for the generation of electricity and for irrigation purposes. Denwa is situated overlooking the fascinating backwaters of a dam built on Denwa River in Satpura National Park, the area is popularly known as Madhai. It is being built on 10 acres of forested land

This river attracts a large number of visitors for its natural beauty in Panchmari. Pachmarhi is a famous hill station in Madhya Pradesh. This place is often called as the Queen of Satpura Mountain ranges. The boating on Denwa River is an awesome experience for avisitor who visits the place. One can also enjoy the scenic beauty of Satpura National Park. In the Satpura National Park, the visitors can cherish the mind with the bird watching and sighting of marsh crocodiles.
