Dargah Yousufain, Andhra Pradesh is a renowned dargah which is the burial ground of two Sufi saints known as Hazrat Syed Shah Yousufuddin and Syed Shah Sharifuddin which has been granted the status of a world heritage site by INTACH in 2008.

Dargah Yousufain, Hyderabad, Andhra PradeshDargah Yousufain is also referred to as `Yousuf Baba Sharif Baba Dargah` is a famous dargah in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh wherein Syed Shah Sharifuddin (who is also known as `Shareefain` and `Shareefain`) and Hazrat Syed Shah Yousufuddin, the two Sufi saints have been buried. Tombs of famous personalities are existent in the burial grounds in Hyderabad. The tomb of Daagh Dehlvi who is a well acclaimed court musician and popular Urdu poet during the regime of the sixth Nizam. Dargah Yousufain has been proclaimed a world heritage site in the year 2008 by INTACH.

History of Dargah Yousufain
The dome of the dargah had been erected during the reign of the Nizams. Syed Shah Sharifuddin and Hazrath Syed Shah Yousufuddin were the leading commanders in the army of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. As per an interesting legend, the emperor Aurangzeb had been able to invade the kingdom of Golconda with the assistance of Yousufain Sharifain. They were buried in Nampally village when they died. Followers of numerable religions and faiths pay visit to the Dargah Yousufain.

Both the spiritual leaders known as Hazrath Syed Shah Yousufuddin and Syed Shah Sharifuddin originally belong to Shaam, which corresponds to current-day Syria. They came across Sheikh-E-Azam Peer Kaleem ullah Jahanabadi in MakkahAlMukarramah when they were performing `Haji`. This holy man Sheikh Kaleemullah Jahanabadi was a devoted follower of Al-Qutub Sheikh Yahya Madani who belongs to Madina Al-Munawara. Sheikh Yahya Madani was a resident of Madinah-Al-Munawwarah city till the day he died and he had been buried close to the `rouzah` of Hazrat Uthman bin Afwan Khaleefatu-Rasool-Allah, Razi Allahhu-taala anhu. Sheikh Kaleem-ullah Jahanabadi had embraced the important vow of `Bayat` of Yousufain Sharifian. Yousufain Sharifain had returned to Delhi and did not return to Syria. After the conclusion of their spiritual training they were asked to associate themselves with the Mughal forces under the reign of Aurangzeb.
