Commonwealth Executive Master of Business Administration Test (CEMAT)
Commonwealth Executive Master of Business Administration Test (CEMAT) is an entrance test examination organized by Indira Gandhi National Open University. This examination is conducted for getting admission to the Commonwealth Executive Master of Business Administration (CEMBA) and also the Commonwealth Executive Master of Public Administration (CEMPA) courses. CEMAT is organized twice in a year, firstly in the month of June and secondly in the month of December.

The Commonwealth Executive MBA (CEMBA) aims at developing South Asian Commonwealth region. The Commonwealth Executive MBA (CEMBA) has been offered since the mid of the year 2002 through four prestigious South Asian open universities, namely Indira Gandhi National Open University, (IGNOU, India), Bangladesh Open University (BOU), Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU, Pakistan) and Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL). These executive management programmes are specifically designed for highly competent and qualified candidates completely committed to self-development and those who strive to achieve greater professional heights. The Commonwealth Executive Master of Business Administration Test (CEMAT) is designed in such a way that it provides an additional aspect of measurement for the selection of the suitable students for this rigorous and demanding programme of management study.

It was designed, developed and implemented through collaboration between the four universities and writers from universities in Commonwealth countries like Australia, New Zealand and Canada. The CEMBA program provides an opportunity to acquire both accreditation and valuable training for candidates who are resident of a participating country, or possess any sort of undergraduate degree. Application Forms
Interested candidates can obtain the application form and prospectus by making cash payment from the admission counter. The application form can also be obtained by making a Demand Draft drawn in favour of IGNOU. The candidates need to submit the completed application form along with all the required documents. The notification about the distribution and last date of forms appear in all the leading dailies in advance. The last date of submitting the form must be noted.

Eligibility Criteria for CEMAT
The major eligibility criteria include an undergraduate degree with good scores (certain professional qualifications are considered as equivalent to a bachelor`s degree), minimum two years of relevant post-qualification experience and residency in any of the Commonwealth countries where the management program is offered. Moreover, good working knowledge of the English language is also required. Last but not the least; acceptable score on the CEMAT admission test is mandatory.

SYLLABUS
There is no such pre-defined syllabus for Commonwealth Executive Master of Business Administration Test (CEMAT). Candidates need to prepare for the tests in accordance with the pattern of questions of the test that includes spheres like reasoning, general awareness, aptitude analysis and English language.

Selection Process
Candidates who will successfully complete the admission test would be eligible for admission for the next 2 cycles of the programmes for which the test scores are valid. The successful candidates need to complete the admission form for registration.
