Coco Beach in Goa is a curvy stretch of sand studded with exquisite natural beauty which invites a number of tourists. It is located at Mandovi Estuary near Aguada Fort, Goa.

Coco Beach, Beaches of GoaCoco Beach is situated at front of Nerul River on the Mandovi Estuary, directly opposite Panaji. This beach is often considered as the abbreviated gateway between Candolim and Nerul. The beach is a home to a local fishing community who on a regular basis can be seen carrying nets and boats in the beach especially in the morning. Coco beach is situated at a distance of 14 kilometres from Mapusa and 5 kilometres from Panaji, Goa.

Things to do in Coco Beach
A short distance away from the Coco beach, visitors can find a lot of tour boats anchored in the bay at the mouth of the Nerul River. Boat trips into the Mandovi River hosts a different tourists attraction which is spotting the wild dolphins. These are used by operators to take tourists on dolphin sighting tours. The tour road stretches from the bay right up to the bottom of Aguada fort and presents a great view of Aguada fort, Aguada prison and the lighthouse which attract a number of tourists. Coco beach hosts a lot of adventurous water sports which excite the tourists. Reis Magos fort and Reis Magos church are situated close to Coco beach which forms added tourist attractions.

The water of Coco beach is very calm and thus is safe and enjoyable for swimming. A number of shacks can be spotted here. It can often be seen crowded with Goan families who visit the beach for picnics. A large number of tall and beautiful palm trees dot the beach. There is also a thriving fishing village which is quite popular owing to its pleasant location and is frequented by foreign tourists. Coco beach has a curvy stretch of sand.

Coco Beach is well connected with the other parts of the country. The nearest airport to reach Coco Beach is the International Dabolim Airport which is well connected to foremost cities. The nearest railway station is in Madgaon. The place can be reached from Panaji and Mapusa through buses up to Nerul. However buses run at a low frequency between these spots.
