Cities of Goa have the bouquet scenic beauty with Christianity, Portuguese culture and the sea beaches with colourful amoled night life. Cities of Goa can be classified according to their classifications of location. Goa consists of two distinguished districts- North Goa district and South Goa district. Some of the cities in North and South Goa are Madkai, Mashel, Campal, Candolim, Carapur, Chimbel, Colvale, Cumbarjua, Curti, Kasarpal, Valpoi, Rivona, Sancoale, Sanguem, Sanvordem, Sao Jose de Areal and many others.
Although Panaji is the state capital, the largest city is Vasco Da Gama. Margao city has historical importance largely due to impact of Portuguese culture. Lot many holy temples and ancient monuments are found here thus making cities of Goa acclaimed as world heritage site.

Vasco da Gama is a city in the state of Goa on the west coast of India. It is named after the Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama. It is the largest city in Goa.
Anmod
Anmod is a town at the Goa-Karnataka border. Some of the oldest rocks in the Indian subcontinent are found in Anmod on Goa`s border with Karnataka. The rocks are classified as Trondjemeitic Gneiss estimated to be 3,600 million years old, dated by the Rubidium isotope dating method.

Bambolim is a census town in North Goa district in the state of Goa.
Loutolim
Loutolim is a small town in Salcette taluka of South Goa district in the state of Goa.
Benaulim
Benaulim is a census town in South Goa district in Goa. It is a beach town a little south of Margao in Goa. It is a town of immense natural beauty, located along the scenic South Goa coastline. Legend has it that Lord Parashurama, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, shot an arrow from the Sahyadri Mountains in adjacent Konkan; the arrow (Baan in Sanskrit) landed at the site of this present-day town. Thus it was known as Banahalli or Banavalli (the village of the arrow) before the advent of the Portuguese. Ancient Banavalli had a magnificent temple dedicated to Shiva or Mahadeva and Parvati, known as Katyayani Baneshvar ruins, of which can be still found in the village. The deities were shifted to Aversa in Northern Kanara (modern Uttara Kannada District) in the 16th century.
Betul
Betul is a coastal town located in South Goa District. It is one hour distance from Margao. It is known for its beach. Sal river drains itself into the Arabian sea near Betul.
Quepem
Quepem is a town with a municipal council in South Goa district. The town is the administrative capital for the Quepem taluka. The town was established by a Portuguese noble man Deao Jose Paulo, the dean (Deao) of the church in 1787 after he moved there just five years after the conquest of Qupem taluka by the Portuguese.
Mormugao
Mormugao is a sub-district and a municipal council in South Goa district in Goa. It is the main port of Goa. Ever since it was accorded the status of a major port in the year 1963, the Mormugao port has contributed immensely to growth of maritime trade in India. It is the leading iron ore exporting port of India with an annual throughput of around 27.33 million tones of iron ore traffic.
Margao
Margao is the second largest city by population, and the commercial and cultural capital of Goa. It is the administrative headquarters of Salcete taluka and South Goa district. By road, Margao is located approximately 33 kilometres from the capital of Goa- Panaji, and 27 kilometres (17 mi) from Vasco da Gama.
Agacaim
Agacaim is a village on the northern banks of the Zuari River in Ilhas. It is surrounded by Panjim to the north, Margao to the south, Vasco da Gama to the west and Ponda to the east, thus making it a main connection between North Goa and South Goa via the Zuari Bridge. Agacaim is famous for its Goan chourico.
Arambol
Arambol is a traditional fisherman village in Goa. It is located approximately at one hour drive from the Dabolim Airport (GOI) within the Pernem administrative region of northern Goa. The beach attracts many international tourists, mainly during the winter season between November and March. Arambol has a distinct bohemian feel which is no longer found in other areas, such as Calangute and this inevitably attracts many alternative travelers.
Chaudi
Chaudi is a town in the South Goa district and is approximately two kilometers from Canacona.
Nuvem
Nuvem is a village in Salcete, Goa, situated along the National Highway 17. Its neighbouring villages include Verna, known for its industrial estate; Majorda, known for its beach; and Seraulim. Nuvem is located 5 km from its district headquarters Margao, 24 km from Vasco da Gama , and 29 km from the state capital Panjim.

Netravali is a census town in Sanguem taluka, South Goa district in the state of Goa, India and it is famous for wildlife sanctuary.
Fatorda
Fatorda is a suburb of the town of Margao in Salcete, Goa. Fatorda has been originally home to the traditional Scheduled Tribe/Scheduled Caste population. The Catholic Gawda community has a very large presence in Fatorda. However, due to the increasing number of buildings in Fatorda, the population has become more diverse.

Sanvordem is a census town in South Goa district in Goa. It is near Shiroda. Sunday is the major market day and people from the nearby areas flock to buy necessities. A few years back it was considered a more remote place in Goa but today it is fast developing. is one and a half hour drive from the Goan capital Panaji.
Davorlim
Davorlim is a census town in South Goa district in the state of Goa.
Campal
Campal is a town situated approximately at a distance of 4 km from Panjim came to be known as "Campal" named after `Campal de Dom Manual`, after "Father of Panjim", Dom Manual de Portugal e Castro who developed it as a commercial area in 1830.
Panaji
Panaji is usually known as Panjim in English, is the capital of Goa and the headquarters of North Goa district. It lies on the banks of the Mandovi River estuary in Tiswadi taluka. Panaji is the only Municipal Corporation in Goa. There are thirteen Municipal Councils: Margao, Mormugao (including Vasco da Gama), Pernem, Mapusa, Bicholim, Sanquelim, Valpoi, Ponda, Cuncolim, Quepem, Curchorem, Sanguem, and Canacona.
