Chunnambar Backwater is situated in Ariyankuppam which is 8 kilometers from Puducherry on the way to Cuddalore and 1 Kilometer from Ariankuppam. As Chunnambar Backwater is located on the Cuddalore main road, all the vehicles going to Cuddalore will take the tourists to the bus-stop near the main gate. Chunnambar is like a tropical heaven. It boasts of serenity and spectacular backwater and perfect sandy expanse of coastline. In fact Chunnambar is a place where a visitor can go for sailing in the downstream to the sands.
