Chhattisgarhi language is an Indo Aryan language and is spoken mostly in Chhattisgarh.

Chhattisgarhi Language is a rich Indo -Aryan language and is spoken in almost all the parts of Chattisgarh. Approximately 11.5 million speakers communicate in Chattisgarhi language thus popularizing the language to a great extent. Other than Chhattisgarh ,in some parts of Madhya Pradesh ,Orissa and Bihar Chhattisgarhi language is also spoken.Chhattisgarhi is similar to Bagheli and Awadhi (Avadhi).

Although linguists consider Chhattisgarhi a separate language different from that of Hindi according to the Indian Government , Chhattisgarhi is an eastern dialect of Hindi. Chhattisgarhi has several identified dialects of its own.They are Baighani, Bhulia, Binjhwari, Kalanga, Kavardi, Khairagarhi, Sadri Korwa, and Surgujia.Like Sanskrit and Hindi ,Chhattisgarhi is also written in Devanagari script.
