Chaukori is a small town located in Pithoragarh District in the state of Uttarakhand. Tibet is located to the north of this town and to the southern part is Terai.

Chaukori, UttarakhandChaukori is a small hill town located in Pithoragarh District set among the lofty and high peaks of the Western Himalaya Mountain Range in the Kumaon Division of Uttarakhand, India. Tibet is located to the north of this town and to the southern part is Terai.

Running along the eastern boundary is the Mahakali River which forms the Indo-Nepal international border. The elevation of Chaukori is 2010 meters that offers a spectacular view of the snow capped peaks of peaks of the Nanda Kot and Nanda Devi Sanctuary. It is approximately 10 km from Berinag, another little hill station.
