Central Mahallu Jama`ath or CMJ is a well-known Juma Masjid in the southern Indian state of Kerala, located at the central portion of Kavumkara. One of the principal goals of CMJ is to cleanse the state of poverty by aiding the underprivileged people and those in despair, and also alleviating ailments. Some of the other aims of Central Mahallu Jama`ath is to introduce educational reforms, eliminating unemployment and finally enabling the Islamic society to march towards the golden path of growth and development. Social and welfare activities are constantly supervised by this organisation. The geographical coordinates of Central Mahallu Jama`ath is between 9° 59 minutes north to 76° 35 minutes east. CMJ is based close to the Indian cities of Kothamangalam, Muvattupuzha in Poochackalz municipality.

History of Central Mahallu Jama`ath
The Central Mahallu Jama`ath is quite ancient and can be traced back to the former part of the 1900`s. The land for the Masjid had been bought in the year 1927.
