C. Sankaran Nair was a Krishnattam master performer.

C. Sankaran Nair was a Krishnattam performer. He was born at Kuttanur in Palakkad district, Kerala in 1915. He began learning Krishnattam as a 6-year-old, under gurus Gopalan Nair and P. Achuthan Nair. On perfecting the art, he joined the Guruvayur Kshetra Kalanilayam and gradually acted all the characters in the Krishnattam repertoire. He became the chief instructor at the Guruvayur temple in Malappuram district, and led the company on its trips across India after it started performing outside Kerala. C. Sankaran expired in 1986.
