Byculla is an Indian railway station located on the Mumbai Subarban railway in the Central Railway Line. The place is well connected with the neighbouring places like, Nagpada and Mumbai Central on the West; Agripada, Jacob Circle and Mahalakshmi on the North-West; Chinchpokli to the North; Reay Road and Ghodapdev on the North-East; Mazagaon and Dockyard Road to the East; Sandhurst Road and Bhendi Bazaar to the South. Byculla railway station was built in 1857. Byculla is well linked to the Central Railway. "Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Railway Hospital", a National Railway Hospital is conveniently placed near the railway station.
