BN Bandodkar College is the only single faculty college in the science stream affiliated to Mumbai University.

BN Bandodkar College of Science , Thane, MaharashtraBN Bandodkar College started in 1969, is the only single faculty college in the science stream affiliated to Mumbai University. It was built by the then CM of Goa Dayanand Bandodkar in the memory of his father Balkrishna Naik Bandodkar. The mission of the College is to mould their students into rational thinkers, competent workers and socially aware citizens.

USP of the college:
The library boasts several rare books and has a collection of about 18,000 books, 600 bound volumes of scientific and other journals and subscription to 30 journals. The college has active NCC, NSS wings. The College houses several scientific clubs such as: Physics Club, Botany Club, Mathematics club and so on.

Streams: Science, Post Graduate and PHD degrees in Science are also offered.
