Bhuvaneshwari Temple is the temple popular among the people of Mysore, concentrate there for worshipping.
Bhuvaneshwari Temple is located on northern side of the Mysore Palace Fort corresponding to the Varahaswamy temple in the south. Thus the Bhuvaneshwari Temple has a symmetrical structure in the fort complex. Bhuvaneshwari Temple was constructed by Sri Jayachamarajendra Wodeyar.
One of the important objects in the Bhuvaneshwari Temple is a copper Surya Mandala which is said to have been transferred from the Mysore Palace to this temple by Jayachamarajendra Wodeyar.
