Bharat Bhawan, Bhopal, Madhya PradeshBharat Bhawan, a multi art complex is located at J.Swaminathan Marg in the Shamla Hills. It is an autonomous body created by the legislature of the State of Madhya Pradesh.It was set up in 1982 mainly to promote cultural activities across the state.

Bharat Bhawan has following sections like -
Rangmandal - A Repertory
Rangmandal is a professional repertory, which organizes plays, and stage shows. Rangamdal works for the development of Theatre.It is divided into two parts Antrang (an indoor Theatre) and Bahirang (an outdoor Theatre). It also contains a good library and a play museum.

Vagarth - A Centre of Indian Poetry
Vagarth has huge library, which contains more than 7,000 books of poetry in 14 Indian languages. It has also recordings and video-cassettes of major poets. Vagarth organizes lectures and seminars on different topics.

Anhad
Anhad is a library of Classical and Folk Music. It organizes Indian classical and folk music programmes of famous musicians.

Ashram
It is a guesthouse of the Artists.

Bharat Bhawan is open on all days from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m leaving Mondays and central government holidays.
