Bhanumati is the wife of Duryadhana. As per the legends, Bhanumati had a dream during the Great War of Kurukshetra that a Nakula or mongoose has destroyed a hundred snakes.

Bhanumati`s dream was considered as a threat as Nakula was the name of one of the Pandava princes and the sons of Kuru were hundred in number. Duryadhana was at first alarmed by the dream of Bhanumati but later determined to ignore it.
