However, the required percentage of marks comes down to 40%, in case of the candidates, belonging to the SC/ST category. The candidates are also required to be aged at least 17 years in the year of admission. The candidates coming from outside Karnataka should submit an eligibility certificate issued by the competent authority, at the time of admission.
