Benuban Vihar Temple is a small Buddhist shrine in the Kunjaban area which is situated at a distance of 2 km northern part from Agartala town. This shrine preserves a metal idol of "Bodhisattva" and "Lord Buddha", which was originally created in Burma. However, the idol was later transferred to Benuban Vihar for installation into this shrine. It is one of the most attractive Buddhist destinations in the Indian state of Tripura. Benuban Vihar is also spelt as "Venuban Vihar" or "Venuvan Vihar". It bears the fact of the remote past of the rich culture of Tripura.

The Indian Railways serves the state while National Highway connects Agartala with Guwahati by road. Nearest railway station is Agartala Railway Station.
