Behror is a city of the Alwar district in Rajasthan.

Behror is a city as well as a municipality situated in the Alwar district in the state of Rajasthan in the northern part of India. As boundaries, the district of Alwar has the state of Haryana on the north, Bharatpur on the east, Dausa on the south and the Jaipur district on the west. A tiger sanctuary known as the Sariska National Park is located in the district. The district has five tehsils.

The exact geographical location of Behror is at 27.88° North and 76.28° East. It has a mean elevation of 312 metres (1023 feet). The town has a historical significance. Pran Sukh Yadav, who fought together with Rao Tula Ram against Britishers in 1857, belongs to the city of Behror. The total population of 22,829 (2001 census) constitutes 54% males, 46% females and 16% children. Interestingly 70% of the total population is literate while the nationwide literacy standard is 59.5%. Male and female literacy rate is respectatively 60% and 40%.
