Beejoliya Kalan is a census town situated in the Bhilwara district in the state of Rajasthan in the western part of India. The district headquarters of the Bhilwara district are located in the town of Bhilwara.
The district spreads over an area of 10,455 sq km and has a total population of 2,009,516, as per the 2001 census, which amplified by 26.14% from 1991 to 2001. The district is famed for its textile industries. It is surrounded on the north by the Ajmer District, on the east by the Bundi District, on the south by the Chittorgarh District, and on the west by the Rajsamand District. The State Highway that connects Jaipur with Udaipur passes through the district. There is also a meter gauge railway line measuring 84 km running through this district that connects Ajmer with Khandwa in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The closest airport is at Udaipur at a distance of 171 km.
According to the 2001 India census, the town of Beejoliya Kalan has a total population of 12,384. Males compose 52% of the population and females make up 48%. The town has an average literacy rate of 64%, higher than the nationwide standard of 59.5%. 59% of the males and 41% of the females are literate. 15% of the population is made up of children less than 6 years of age.
