The domestic and the international tourists visiting Chhattisgarh, can avail airway, railway and roadway to reach Barnawapara Wild Life Sanctuary. The airport of Raipur is the nearest one from this sanctuary. The tourists can access the railway service from Mahasamund District railway station. The developed roadways link the sanctuary with the state capital of Raipur.
Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary occupies the Northern part of Mahasamund District and covers an area of 244.66 sq. Kms.
