Baljit Singh Dhillon, Indian Hockey PlayerBaljit ("Baljeet") Singh Dhillon was born on June 18, 1973. This field hockey midfielder is from India. Baljit Singh Dhillon made his international debut in the year 1993 for the Indian Men`s Hockey Team. It took place during the test series against South Africa. Baljit Singh Dhillon was nicknamed Balli. Baljit Singh Dhillon represented his native country, India at three consecutive Summer Olympics. The first one started with the 1996 Olympics, which held in Atlanta, Georgia. In that year India finished in eighth place.

From both international and national hockey this triple Olympian Baljit Singh Dhillon announced his retirement. Sher-e-Jalandhar and Orissa Steelers players besides the organisers gave him a special tribute. The midfielder hockey player, Dhillon represented India in three Olympics in 1996 (Atlanta), 2000 (Sydney) and 2004 (Athens), two World Cups in 1998 (Utrecht) and Kuala Lumpur (2002).

During the Asia Cup held in the year 2003 and Afro-Asian Games held in the year 2003, Dhillon captained India to the victory. When Indian national Team won the Gold medal at the Bangkok Asian Games in the year 1998 and silver at the Busan Asiad in the year 2002, he was also participated as a member of the Indian teams.
