Baga Creek is a tidal estuary situated in the Goa state of India. An estuary is a partly enclosed coastal body comprising of brackish water with one or more rivers or streams flowing into it. The estuary has a free connection to the open sea. The Creek empties into Arabian Sea at north end of the Baga beach which is named after Baga creek.
The Baga creek is located near the town of Baga. The position of Baga Creek coordinates 15.563 ° N 73.749 ° E. From Chapora fort to Baga creek, the coast is a rocky terrain except for the occurrence of small pockets beaches at Anjuna and Chapora. The beach from Baga creek to the Aguada is a vast stretch of flat sandy land representing open coastal landscape.
