This popular Islamic shrine is mainly known for a baby throwing ritual, in which babies are dropped from the height of 15 meters onto a cloth. The cloth is held by both Hindu and Muslims. This practice of baby throwing is almost five to seven hundred years old. It is said that when a pir advises people, whose babies are dying, to perform this ritual, then they are showing their trust to the almighty by performing the ritual. The babies, who are suffering from diseases, also get cured after this ritual.
