Ayesha KapoorAyesha Kapoor shot to fame with her role on the film `Black`. She was excellent in the film and drawn accolades from the different parts of the world. The child actress was born on September 13, 1994. She played the young Michelle McNally in the film. She lives in Auroville, Pondicherry in South India. Her mother is German and her father is Indian businessman Dilip Kapoor. His father is the owner of the Hi Design chain of leather goods stores there.

Ayesha played the role of a physically disabled, psychologically disordered, traumatized and maladjusted childhood version of Rani Mukherjee. Ayesha Kapoor`s child act dwarfs every juvenile performance seen in Hindi cinema. She knows horse riding and love horses. She has also learnt `sign` language for this film. It was a tough role to play and she did it successfully. She loves writing on wildlife and wants to become an actress or a writer. She got film fare award for best supporting actress for `Black` in 2005.
