Arthur`s Seat is one of the well known hill stations of Mahabaleshwar, Maharashtra. This hill station is surrounded with a number of hillocks which are covered with mud and evergreen forests. These mountain ranges are considered to be the queen of all hill stations. With high elevation the slopes of the mountains are carved in such a manner that reflects the pressure of the air and its impact on the erosion. Arthur`s Seat point is at height of 1470 metres. It is popularly known as Queen of the Points.

The place has been named after Mr Aurther Mallet who was the first to build a house in this place.
