Arranged -Love MarriagesWith the passing years, India has developed the concept of love cum arranged marriage. This kind of marriage is fast gaining popularity. The very concept of love after marriage is a beautiful and soothing feeling. However, Indian society still prefers love after marriage instead of love before marriage. Thus came about the idea of arranging the marriage of a couple and then allowing them to spend enough time knowing each other. Another view was that the couple chooses each other and receives their parent`s approval of the relation after a though rough discussion and formal talk.

In a married life there are different stages of love. The romantic love, which is common right after marriage and does not remain the same after twenty years of marriage. The influence of the western culture brought about a new trend of dating in the cities and its suburbs of our country. Young girls and boys go out on a date with the person they like is a most recent trend now in the cities. However, this concept of falling in love is not so familiar in the interiors of India and still in villages people prefer arrange marriages. Some orthodox families in the cities too prefer to have arranged marriages.

Some people say that arranged cum love marriage is more successful then love marriage. One can marry and than start liking the partner. It is not necessary to know a person before marriage. However love can come after marriage too. For loving somebody one need to spend time together and understand each other. Loyalty is a big aspect of this kind of marriages. Whatever the idea may be; love then marriage or marriage then love; the story is of understanding, adjusting and trusting. So be it love or arranged cum love marriage the basic spirit in both remains the true unconditional love.
