Arjun Halappa  , Indian Hockey PlayerArjun Halappa was born on 17th December 1980 in Somwarpet, Kodagu, Karnataka. He hails from India and is a field hockey striker. Arjun Halappa made his international debut in the Prime Minister`s Gold Cup, in the year of 2001, March for the Men`s National Team against Egypt.

At the 2004 Summer Olympics, Halappa delineated India where India finished in seventh place. This stalwart player is a product of Centre of Excellence, SAI Bangalore. He is playing for Indian Airlines, Karnataka. The position of half back is his position. In the domestic level the tournaments that were played by him are:

•Lal Bahadur Shastri Tournament -- Nov/Dec 2003 - Delhi (1st) Scored goal in final, Nov/Dec 2002 - Delhi (2nd)
