Arjun Halappa was born on 17th December 1980 in Somwarpet, Kodagu, Karnataka. He hails from India and is a field hockey striker. Arjun Halappa made his international debut in the Prime Minister`s Gold Cup, in the year of 2001, March for the Men`s National Team against Egypt.

At the 2004 Summer Olympics, Halappa delineated India where India finished in seventh place. This stalwart player is a product of Centre of Excellence, SAI Bangalore.
