The Archaeological Museum at Kamalapur Post in the state of Karnataka is an important historical place. Established in the year 1954, this Archaeological Museum stores excavated materials of Karnataka, valuable sculptures, articles and many more. Exactly located at Hampi, this Archaeological comprises of stone sculptures and architectural pieces of Vijayanagar Period, gold, miniature paintings, metal objects, crystal, ivory and semiprecious objects. Coins, palm leaf manuscripts, copper plates, paintings and copper coins enrich the collection.

The museum welcomes historians, scholars and general visitors to show its possessions from 10am to 5pm except on Friday.
