Anup Soni is an Indian film and television actor. He is an alumnus of the National School of Drama. Anup Soni first shot to limelight with serials like `Sea Hawks` and `Saaya.` In the year 2001 he took a short sabbatical and ventured out to procure roles in the film industry. He had also been a faculty in the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting School. He used to take voice and speech classes.

Anup Soni had students like Apoorva Agnihotri, Priya Gill, Akshaye Khanna and Shabad Khan. He gained major popularity as an ACP CID-Special Bureau, which was aired on Sony TV Channel. Apart from these he has worked in few movies like `Godmother` and `Tathastu`, `Kharaashein: Scars from Riots`, `Hum Pyar Tumhi Se Kar Baithe` and `Hathyar.` In 2004 he appeared in Ashok Pandit`s film "Sheen". The other serials he has worked in are `Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki`, `Virrudh` in Sony TV Channel and `Balika Vadhu` on Colors. His work has been largely appreciated in these serials.

In his personal life Anup Soni got married to actor-cum-politician Raj Babbar`s daughter Juhi Babbar on March 14, 201. Anup was earlier married to Ritu Soni whom he divorced. Anup has two daughters from his first wife. His second wife Juhi was earlier married to director Bejoy Nambiar.
