Anil Mehta, Indian CinematographerAnil Mehta is a well-known name in the Indian film industry after his popular films like Lagaan, Veer-Zaara and so on. A prominent cinematographer, writer and director of Bollywood movies, Anil Mehta studied cinematography at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. He has shot smash hit films like Lagaan (2001), Saathiya (2002) and Veer-Zaara (2004). His directorial debut film Aaja Nachle, has been produced by Yash Raj Films. This film was released on November 9, 2007 and it stars Madhuri Dixit, Konkona Sen Sharma, Akshaye Khanna and Kunal Kapoor.

Anil Mehta won the National Film Award for Best Cinematography for his work in the internationally famous film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999)
