Angappa College of Arts and Science, Pollachi Rd, Tamil NaduAffiliated to Bharathiar University, the foundation of Angappa College of Arts and Science was laid in 1997, within the campus of T.A. Ramalingam Chettiar Higher Secondary School of Saibaba Colony. Later in May 1999, it was transferred to its new campus that is quite huge and located amidst tranquility. All essential facilities are available here, including vast playgrounds.

Angappa College of Arts and Science imparts learning in co-educational mode. All the courses offered are career centric so that they prove to be beneficial for the growth of the students in future years. Undergraduate courses that are offered include-- B.Sc. in (C.S.), Bachelor in Computer Application ( B.C. A), B.Sc. in (Costume Design & Fashion), Bachelor in Business Management (B.B. M), B.Com, B.Com. in (CA). In postgraduate level one can also get admitted to courses like M.Sc. in (Software System), M.Com, M.S.W.

Angappa College of Arts and Science has departments like Costume Design and Fashion Technology, Commerce, Computer Science with an asset of efficient and qualified teaching staffs who are entirely devoted in maintaining the standard of quality education.

All Undergraduate and Postgraduate Computer Laboratories of Angappa College of Arts and Science are fully air-conditioned. A separate electronics laboratory also has been built. Students have the permission to go and use the laboratories after college gets dissolved and also during the weekends and semester holidays. The placement cell focuses training individual students in aptitude/ group discussion/ career counselling to budding professionals. The placement cell of Angappa College of Arts and Science is quite active in helping the students to get placed various companies.

Apart from excelling in academic fields, special attention also is given in promoting extracurricular activities amongst Angappa College of Arts and Science students. College Day, convocation ceremony and many other cultural programmes are organised in great enthusiasm and vigour. Sports also is given due attention. In fact students participate in great numbers in all sports events. N.S.S. Programmes also help them in gaining awareness about various social ills.
