Amit Mishra, Indian Cricket PlayerAmit Mishra, born on November 24, 1982, in Delhi, is an Indian cricketer. Mishra has got himself trained as a leg-break bowler. Besides, being, a bowler, he is also capable of functioning as a right-handed lower order batsman. He generally bats around number 10 and is an attacking leg spin bowler. Amit Mishra, shot to the limelight, with his dauntless combat against the Under-19 England team that visited India, early in 2001. His twisting leg-breaks, and bewildering googlies, did a great job for him. In 2002, Mishra originally joined the Indian team for a Test match against West Indies, but was not selected. His debut One Day International (ODI) match was against South Africa in 2003. Amit Mishra also plays in the Indian Premier League for the Deccan Chargers team.
