Besides, being, a bowler, he is also capable of functioning as a right-handed lower order batsman. He generally bats around number 10 and is an attacking leg spin bowler. Amit Mishra, shot to the limelight, with his dauntless combat against the Under-19 England team that visited India, early in 2001.
