Amausi International Airport can also be termed as Lucknow International Airport. The airport is located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The airport is named after a small village Amausi. The purpose of Lucknow city and Kanpur is served by Amausi International Airport. Three International carriers and various domestic carriers touchdown by the airport. Air Deccan (Delhi); Air India (Delhi, Mumbai); Air India Express (Delhi); Indian (Delhi, Mumbai); Jet Airways (Delhi, Mumbai); JetLite (Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata) and Kingfisher Airlines (Delhi) are the domestic airlines catering to the airport. Air India (Jeddah); Air India Express (Dubai); Indian (Sharjah) and Oman Air (Muscat) are the international airlines flying to and from the airport. Saudi Arabian Airlines (Riyadh); Air Arabia (Sharjah); Malaysia Airlines (Kuala lumpur); Indigo Airlines (Delhi); Cosmic Air (Kolkata, Kathmandu) and many other airlines are planning to launch their services at the airport.
