Amara Kosha is a renowned Sanskrit vocabulary which is available in more or less perfect state in all Indian languages. This is arranged in verse to help in memorizing like most other Sanskrit Dictionaries.
In the Amara Kosha, the synonymous words are composed into one or more verses and placed in fifteen different chapters. Again in the sixteenth chapter, a few homonymous terms are arranged alphabetically in the Indian way by the final consonants. A full catalogue of indeclinable nouns can be seen in the seventeenth chapter of Amara Kosha. The last chapter of the Amara Kosha is a treatise on the gender of nouns.
