Ajanta Cave 5Ajanta Cave 5 is one of the brilliant caves in Ajanta located in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Hewn at a lower level, this monastery was also left unfinished. Its richly-carved doorway, with female figures standing on makaras projecting beyond the general alignment, deserves notice. The design of sculptor and frescoes are intricately done and portrays some of the best designs in Ajanta.
