It is reached through an incomplete cave by an ancient staircase. Planned on a large scale, it was left unfinished. The decoration of the pillars of the verandah differs from that of any other pillars at Ajanta. The top corner of the central doorway leading to the unfinished hall is adorned with beautifully-modelled figures of sala bhanjikas with attendants.
