The poplar and enigmatic television actress Achint Kaur is known both in the small screen and the large screen for her outstanding performances. She studied from Sophia Girls` School, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She is prominently shown in the widely popular tele-soaps of the Star Plus namely Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Karam Apna Apna and Virrudh. She also anchored a couple of shows in the tinsel town and also anchored a road show for Drishti Communications. Ultimately she bagged a role in Banegi Apni Baat and this proved to be the turning point of her life. She has made a mark with the popular soaps like Saaya, Maan, Dhadkan, Banegi Apna Baat, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kyuki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Virrudh. Her desire to be different in each role she enacts has made her help earn much fame. Her unconventional role in Virrudh falls in the same category of quality performance.

Achint Kaur has not worked in the small screen but has also appeared in the big screen. She starred in movies like Om Jai Jagadish with Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, Corporate with Bipasha Basu and Kay Kay Menon, Julie with Neh a Dhupia, Sur: The Melody of Life alongside Lucky Ali and others.

For her splendid performances Achint has won the Screen Videocon Best Actress Award for the splendid portrayal of the character of Kamya in Saaya and the ITA Award for Best Actress in Supporting Role for her series Virrudh.
