He is a former Indian cricketer who made adequate achievements, in the sphere of domestic cricket. Abhijit Kale has started off his career, as an opening batsman. He shot to the limelight with a dazzling century, for the India Under-19 squad against the New Zealand team, in 1992. Although Abhijit Kale belonged to Mumbai but he was unable to enter the celebrated Mumbai team. Kale turned out to be a chief element of the Maharashtra team, he was associated with. He ruled the middle-order batting with his mettle in the nineties.

Career of Abhijit Kale
Kale began his Cricket career in the year 1992, for the Indian Under-19s against New Zealand. He is the unparalleled star of First-class cricket. In the 93 matches that he has played, he has obtained an awe-inspiring aggregate of 7134 runs, with a highest score of 248 runs and an outstanding average of 54.45. In bowling, he has taken 3 wickets, and given 339 runs, out of 560 balls. He played his last First class match against Orissa, at Agartala, from December 17th to 19th, 2006.
