General entertainment channel Star Plus is airing a reality show `Aajaa Mahi Vay - Prem Ki Agni Pareeksha` on couples from 1st August which is produced by Contiloe Entertainment Pvt Ltd. In this reality show 11 real life unmarried couples battle it out week on week in pursuit of their dream wedding as a grand prize. In this show, it is not only the dancing skills of the contesting couples that are put to the test week after week, but also their love and commitment towards each other.

In this dance show there is some indifference from others where the couples come from diverse backgrounds and they compete to win the wedding of their dreams. To judge the dancing capabilities and harmonies of the contestants there are television actors Shweta Tiwari, Ronit Roy and Apara Mehta. `Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar` winner Rahul Vaidya and finalist Vineet Singh share the stage once again as anchors of the show.

About the contestants it can be said that there are lot of hard work went into finding these eleven couples, who are all great dancers and more importantly each couple has an interesting story to tell. The show telecast every Friday to Saturday at 8 pm in replacement of recently ended `Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar` show.

The lucky winners who get the maximum amount of votes from viewers and judges will win a no expense spared dream wedding. The show is biweekly and air on Fridays and Saturdays. The first week feature performances from all the couples spread over the two days, with appeals for votes. Thereafter, each Friday episode has performances by the top three couples, who compete for prizes such as refrigerators, microwave ovens, home theatre systems, etc. These are basically the goods that will come in handy for starting a domestic life together. There are three compatibility games in which their companionship and commitment are judged. This is followed by the elimination of a couple with the least amount of votes.

The Saturday episode will features dance performances of the contesting couples, with appeals for votes at the end of each performance. Voting is open from the end of the episode until the next week`s Friday episode. Results are achieved by adding votes by viewers and judges. Both the cases get equal importance.

The programme is trying to be unique in sense that some common people are coming in the limelight after appearing in this reality show.
