The 8th Indian Infantry Brigade was a former infantry formation that remained in active service from 1939 to 1942. It served under the British Empire in India during the Second World War. The infantry force of the British Indian Army was raised in September 1939. It was attached to the 11th Indian Infantry Division in November 1940. Later the 8th Indian Infantry Brigade was assigned to the 9th Indian Infantry Division in March 1941.
The troops provided significant military service during several British conflicts and conquests, such as, the Malayan Campaign. However after the Battle of Singapore, the brigade surrendered in February 1942.

• 5th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery (January 1942)
• 4/19th Hyderabad Regiment (December 1941)
• 21st Mountain Battery Indian Artillery (May 1941 - February 1942)
• Composite Battalion 18 Royal Garhwal Rifles (January 1942 - February 1942)
