Homeopathy is an alternative system of medicine that was founded in the early 19th century by a German physician, Dr. Hahnemann. It had its greatest popularity in the late 19th century in the United States. However, with the advent of modern medicine, homeopathy began to look old and dull and its popularity diminishes. Dr. Samuel Hahnemann: Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, popularly known as Dr. Samuel Hahnemann (10 April, 1755- 2nd July, 1843) was a German physician who founded homoeopathic medicine and was definitely one of the famous homeopathic practitioner.

Samuel Hahnemann was the founding father of homeopathy. Maharshi Dr. Pareshnath Banerji: In the year 1918 at Mihijam, Dr. Pareshnath Banerji did set up his charitable Homoeopathic clinic for the greater purpose of treating the mass. "Lexon" the medicine for snake bite was invented by him that saved millions of lives not only in India but also throughout the world.
