Pratima Singh, Indian Basketball PlayerPratima Singh is a professional level Indian basketball player and an active player in Indian national women basketball team. She started playing basketball in national level from 2003. Pratima Singh belongs to the basketball family and she and her sisters are the basket ball players in nation level and international level championships.

Personal Life of Pratima Singh
Pratima Singh is haling from the family of basket ball player. Her sisters Divya Singh, Prashanti Singh, and Akanksha Singh, have represented Indian National Women`s Basketball Team. Prashanti Singh is the current captain of the team. Another sister Priyanka Singh is the coach of National Institute of Sports basketball. Together they are also known as Singh Sisters.

Career of Pratima Singh
Pratima Singh has the keen basketball skills. Pratima Singh was selected to the Junior Indian team in the year of 2006 and captained the Junior Indian Girls team in 2008. In her leadership Delhi Basket Ball Team has won many medals such as Junior National championship in Dilwara, Rajasthan.

Career of Pratima Singh in National Arena
Pratima Singh led the Delhi University Team in All India Inter-university, Kottayam District of Kerala, 2010 and won the gold medal. Pratima Singh was Vice Captain when University of Delhi won a gold medal in the All India University Basketball Championship at Nallore District of Andhra Pradesh, where she was given joint best player award along with her sister Akanksha Singh, who is one of the most popular basketball players in Indian National Basketball Team for Women.

Award Received by Pratima Singh
Pratima Singh was the student of Jesus and Mary College (2008-2009). Pratima Singh won many "Best Player" titles at the university level. Her peers in college know her as someone with a lot of style and chutzpah. Pratima Singh won a gold medal for the country in the first 3 X 3 FIBA Asia Championship. Pratima Singh was also known as a fighter as she fought with her knee injury with a lot of hard work and avoided an operation and then performed after a year of hard work and became highest scorer of the tournament in the year 2012.
