Early Life of Sumit Nagal
Sumit Nagal was born on August 16, 1997 in Jhajjar District. Sumit Nagal was born in Jhajjar in Haryana on 16th August 1997 to Suresh Nagal, a teacher. Sumit Nagal lived in Nangloi, West Delhi until he was 10.

Career of Sumit Nagal
Sumit Nagal was selected in the first batch of children as part of Mahesh Bhupathi`s Apollo Tyres Mission 2018 Programme. In between 2008-2010, Sumit Nagal was based in Bengaluru. Upon the program closing down, Sumit Nagal shifted to Toronto, Canada where he was coached by Canadian coach Bobby Mahal in between 2008-2014. In the Spring of 2014, Sumit Nagal shifted to Offenbach, Germany to the Schuettler Waske Tennis University.

Training of Sumit Nagal
Sumit Nagal is residing in Germany and is coached by Mariano Delfino from Argentina. He is personally managed by Mahesh Bhupathi of Globosport. Sumit Nagal completed his early studies at Little Angels School, Sonipat, Haryana.

Awards Received by Sumit Nagal
Sumit Nagal won the 2015 Wimbledon boys` doubles title with his Vietnamese partner Ly Hoang Nam, defeating Reilly Opelka -Akira Santillan in the final. He became the sixth Indian player to win a junior Grand Slam Title.
