Career of Jayesh Rane
Jayesh Rane joined the youth team of Mumbai FC in the year 2008. He then played for the U20 team of Mumbai FC. There he became the leading goal scorer of the 2012 U20 I-League. Rane scored 13 goals in that season. For his good performance, he was called up to the first-team for the Federation Cup but he could not make his field debut during the tournament due to Mumbai being knocked-out early. Rane eventually made his debut for Mumbai in the I-League on 3rd November 2012 against Salgaocar at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune, which is located in Maharashtra, coming on as a 90th minute substitute for Subash Chakraborty, another prominent player of Indian Football Team. He gained a yellow card straight away in the 92nd minute as Mumbai lost 1-0, their fourth straight defeat of the season. Rane scored his first professional goal for the club right in the next season on 18th October 2013, against Salgaocar.

Jayesh Rane started his career with Mumbai FC in 2008 as a youth player. He went on to make his senior debut in 2012 and played there for 4 seasons. Chennaiyin: In July 2014, Rane was selected alongside 83 more Indian players to be a part of the 2014 ISL Inaugural Domestic Draft, being available on loan from Mumbai. On 23rd July 2014, he was drafted in the ninth draft round by Chennaiyin. He then made his debut for Chennaiyin on 25th October 2014 against Delhi Dynamos. He came on as a halftime substitute for Balwant Singh. Chennaiyin lost for 3–1. He played 5 matches for Chennaiyin FC and could not score any goal in the 2014 season of Indian Super League. Rane returned to Chennaiyin for the 2015 season. On 20th December 2015, Rane came on as a 68th-minute substitute for Jeje Lalpekhlua against Goa. In the end, Chennaiyin won the match and eventually the ISL Finale. The 2016 season began well for Rane. The club`s first match of the season was against Atletico de Kolkata. Rane scored his first goal for the club. This tied the match at 1-1. His performance during the match resulted in Rane being named the "Emerging Player of the Match".
ATK: Rane was bought by Atletico de Kolkata in the 2017 season of ISL. He played 13 games in the season. He signed a contract extension on 20th March 2018 with ATK. On 2nd December, in the match against Chennayin Fc he scored his first goal for the club.

Jayesh Rane was selected to represent team India U23 during the 2016 AFC U-23 Championship Qualifiers. He made his International debut against Uzbekistan U23 in which he played the full match. However he could not score as India lost 2-0.
