This village of Challagariga in Telangana has two historical temples that were built during the time of medieval rule, located in the heart of the village. One is holy Shivalayam and the other is holy Ramalayam. Every year people celebrate Sriramanavami with much glory and pomp. Many people come from other villages to see the celebrations in Ramalayam. And there is a dedicated priest for Shivalayam, living nearer to the temple and doing the Puja everyday from many years.
