Satapada was a renowned tourism spot and picnic ground of the British inhabitants in the country during the British Raj. The Honeymoon Island exists near Rambha Bay which is situated near Sankuda Island, which is about 5 km away from the Rambha Jetty. Popularly referred to as `Barkuda Island`, the Honeymoon Island is an interesting tourism centre in Satapada. Another island, known as the Breakfast Island which is present between Somolo Island and Badakuda Island is adorned with rare forms of flora and is pear-shaped. Tourists will be enchanted by the remnants of a deserted bungalow which is believed to have been created by the ruler of Kalikote. The Kalikote hills, which exist on the Beacon Island, are surrounded by the Eastern Ghats, near the Dumkudi Islands and Somolo Islands.
