Samaleswari Sporting Club is an football club hailed from Odisha. Samaleswari Sporting Club has always been an amateur team but in January 2012, it was announced that they were to participate in the 2012 I-League 2nd Division, the second tier of football in India.

In January 2012 they were officially certified by the All India Football Federation to participate in the I-League 2nd Division which is known as the second tier of football in India. This move would begin a new chapter for Samaleswari Sporting Club as they would officially become professional football team in India. After the group stage, Samaleswari Sporting Club finished in fifth place in Group A division of the foot ball game. Thus, this team did not qualify for the next round and were out of the promotion race. Mohammedan Sporting Club is a football club based in Kolkata, West Bengal. Mohammedan Sporting Club was founded in the year 1891. As Mohammedan Sporting Club is one of the oldest football clubs in Kolkata, this club became victorious many times in the domestic football sessions. Prayag United S.C. is football club from Kolkata in West Bengal. Prayag United S.C currently plays in the I-League. Prayag United S.C. was originally established in 1927 as Eveready Association. In the year 2006, it was renamed as United Sports Club to attract title sponsor. This football division is owned by United Sport Football Team Private Ltd. With the inflow of sponsorship, Prayag United S.C., clinched promotion to the first division of the I-League in 2007. Bhawanipore Club is based from Bhowanipore, which was established in the year 1910. It has been accepted into the I-League 2nd Division, the second tier of football in India. In January 2012, Bhawanipore Club were officially certified by the All India Football Federation to participate in the I-League 2nd Division. After playing 6 games during the season Bhawanipore ended in 6th place out of 7 in Group C and thus failed to move to the Final half. Kalighat Milan Sangha F.C , Kolkata, West Bengal
Kalighat Milan Sangha Football Club is an Indian Football club from Kolkata. Formed in the midst of Second World War, that is the year 1944, the club has always been amateur. But in January 2012, Kalighat Milan Sangha Football Club announced its move into professional football and was accepted into the I-League 2nd Division, the second tier of football in India.

Tollygunge Agragami, Kolkata, West Bengal
Tollygunge Agragami is a football club based in Kolkata. They play in the Kolkata Premier League and have also played in I-League. The team was founded in the year 1943 as Russa Agragami Samity, and then later renamed to Tollygunge Agragami in 1955. Their home ground is the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium. Although the team has not been as successful as their city rivals, East Bengal Club and Mohun Bagan, they are a team to watch out for.
