Lord Rama is a very popular mythological character of Amar Chitra Katha comic series in India. According to the Hindu epic tale of Ramayana, Lord Rama is the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu who defeated Ravana and was the king of the kingdom of Ayodhya. The name of the comic series is Ramayana.

Vikram Betal
Diamond Comics provided detailed stories regarding Vikram Betal, another interesting mythical character of India. The series spoke about tales from Indian mythological stories about the legendary ruler, King Vikram and the `Betaal`, who was a vampire-like creature. Colourful pictures and graphics filled the pages of the comic series.

Hanuman
Amar Chitra Katha published a book on the character of Hanuman, a monkey who finds mention in the famous epic story of Ramayana. Hanuman is a renowned character, especially for his unfaltering devotion to Lord Rama and his wife Sita, along with his contribution in Lord Rama`s battle against the evil forces and Ravana.
