Tomb of Balban, MehrauliThe southern end of Mehrauli is dotted with a number of interesting buildings. Moving forward from Qutub Minar, the first to the right is a ruined rubble structure, the tomb of Balban, the last ruler of the Slave Dynasty in India. Built in 1280, the building is remarkable for it contains the first true arch to be constructed in India.
